Agur Colony

Agur is a moshav located near Hebron, established in 1950 on the lands of the depopulated Palestinian village of ‘Ajjur, in the Hebron District.
The village of ‘Ajjur was occupied and its residents displaced in October 1948 by the Fourth Battalion of the Givati Brigade, as part of Operation Yoav.
Agur was initially founded by Zionist immigrants from Yemen. In 1953, the original founders left to establish another moshav, Nahala. Agur was subsequently resettled by Zionist immigrants from northern Kurdistan.
As of 2021, the settlement had a population of 552 settlers.
