al-Manara
Updated: Aug 3

Al-Manara was a depopulated Palestinian village, a small village whose lands extended between the villages of Hunin and Al-Buwayziyya, located northeast of the city of Safad, approximately 26 kilometers away. The village was situated at an elevation reaching 837 meters above sea level. Its lands were estimated to cover an area of 2,550 dunams.
Al-Manara was among the villages occupied and destroyed prior to the Nakba, specifically in 1943, when the kibbutz "Manara" was established on its lands, and its residents were gradually displaced from the village.
