Al-Sayyadah was a Palestinian village located in the area between Lake al-Hula and the Syrian–Palestinian border, approximately 50 kilometers northeast of the city of Safad, and no more than 4 kilometers from the Syrian border.

The village changed hands multiple times, having been occupied by Zionist forces and reclaimed by the Syrian army. Following the signing of the Armistice Agreement between Syria and the occupying Israeli government in July 1949, the village’s residents were allowed to return, as the area had been designated a demilitarized zone.

The villagers remained there until 1956, when the Israeli authorities forcibly expelled them, along with the inhabitants of other villages located in the demilitarized zones. This expulsion coincided with the Tripartite Aggression on Egypt, and occurred on October 30, 1956.
