Aviezer Colony

Aviezer is a small religious moshav located in central occupied Palestine, approximately seven kilometers south of Beit Shemesh. The moshav was established on April 8, 1958, by immigrants from Iran and Cochini Jews from Kochi, India, who constitute the main ethnic group. It was initially named Adullam 9, then later renamed after Avigdor Zigmunt Geistiner, the former chairman of the Jewish National Fund in the United Kingdom. it was founded on the lands of the depopulated Palestinian village of Beit Netiv, Hebron district, in 1958.

In 2022, the settlement’s population was recorded at 897 settlers.
