Ein Ya'akov is a moshav located in the north of the occupied Palestinian territory, near the settlement of Ma’alot-Tarshiha. It was established in 1953 by Jewish immigrants from Kurdistan and Iraq on land situated to the east of the depopulated Palestinian village of al-Kabri, in the district of Acre. As of 2021, the population of the settlement was 1,215 settlers. Sources: Due to the scarcity of Arabic sources, Hebrew sources were used:

  • The settlement's website (in Hebrew)

  • Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics

  • Palestine Remembered entry for the village of al-Kabri
