Goren is an agricultural colony (moshav in Hebrew) that was established in 1950 by immigrants from Yemen, after they had spent a few months living in the Rosh HaAyin colony in the middle region of occupied Palestine. They were joined by settlers from North Africa in 1951.  It is located on the land of the depopulated village of Iqrit after expelling its inhabitants to neighboring Arab villages.Source:Wikipedia and the Goren colony website.
