Kfar Aza Colony

Kfar Aza is a settlement located approximately 5 kilometers east of the Gaza Strip, situated between the settlements of Tzohar and Sderot. It came under full control of the resistance during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation. The settlement was established in 1951 by immigrants from Egypt and from Tangier, Morocco. It covers an area of 10 square kilometers and is situated at an elevation of 89 meters above sea level. According to 2013 statistics, the settlement had a population of approximately 669 settlers.
