Le’on Colony

Srigim, also known as Le’ón, is a community settlement established in 1960 on the lands of the depopulated village of ‘Ajjur in the Hebron district.

it was originally planned to become a regional center and was named after the grape vineyards that are widespread in the area.

In 1996, the settlement of Srigim was expanded to include 200 Jewish families aiming to transform it into an ecological settlement. It hosts dozens of artists and holds an art exhibition twice a year. The settlement also includes a boutique winery, a small brewery, and an olive oil mill.

As of 2022, the settlement had a population of 1,014 settlers.
