Mishmar HaShiv'a is a moshav located in the central region of the occupied Palestinian territory, near Beit Dagan. The village was established in 1949 by demobilized soldiers on land that formerly belonged to the Palestinian village of Bayt Dajan, whose residents were displaced during the 1948 war. The moshav was named in memory of seven members of the Notrim (Jewish auxiliary police) who were killed near Yazur on January 22, 1948. As of 2022, the population of the settlement was 1,040 settlers. Sources: Due to the limited availability of Arabic sources, Hebrew sources were used, including the settlement’s official Hebrew website and the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics. Information about the Palestinian village of Bayt Dajan was obtained from .
