Nir Yitzhak is a kibbutz located in the northwest of the Negev Desert in the occupied territories. The kibbutz was established on December 8, 1949, and like Mashabei Sadeh, it was named after the Palmach commander Yitzhak Sadeh. It is affiliated with the HaShomer HaTzair youth movement.
The kibbutz hosts the Garin Tzabar program, which is a framework for non-Israeli Jews who volunteer for service in the Israeli occupation forces. In 2021, the settler population was approximately 649.
