Sde Ezyahu is an agricultural moshav, a type of cooperative farming community, located in southern Israel's Hevel Lakhish region. Founded in 1951, it is situated approximately 25 kilometers  northeast of the Gaza Strip. While not one of the settlements immediately bordering Gaza, its location in southern Israel has placed it within the range of rocket fire during periods of conflict.
