Shatolam is a moshav in south-central occupied Palestine, located near Ashdod. The moshav was established in 1950 by Zionist refugees from Yemen, and its name is taken from a verse in the Book of Psalms. Shtulim was built on the lands of the Palestinian village of Isdud, whose residents were displaced in 1948. In 2022, the number of settlers living there was 2,174. Sources: Due to the scarcity of Arabic sources, Hebrew sources were used: the colony’s page in Hebrew / the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics. Information on the village of Isdud is from the “Palestine Remembered” website.
