Tirat Carmel, formerly known as  ("Tira of the Almonds"), is a settlement located in the Haifa area. It was established in 1949 on land that belonged to the depopulated Palestinian village of al-Tira. According to statistics from 2014, the settlement had a population of 18,854 settlers. Its total area is 5,601 dunums. According to the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, Jews and non-Arabs constituted 99.6% of the population. By 2019, the number of settlers had increased to 22,210.
