Yagel Colony

The agricultural religious colony of Moshav Yagel is located north of the city of Lod, near Lod Airport. It was established in 1950 by Jewish settlers from Iraq on thousands of hectares of agricultural land that belonged to Palestinian Arabs displaced from the village of Kafr ‘Ana, which was depopulated and occupied during Operation Dani on July 12, 1948.
