Zevdi’el is a religious moshav located in the southern part of the occupied Palestinian territories, near Kiryat Gat. It was established in 1950 by Zionist immigrants from Yemen on land that previously belonged to the depopulated Palestinian village of Hatta. In 2006, the number of settlers in Zevdi’el was 413, and by 2022, the population had increased to 629 settlers. Sources: Due to the scarcity of Arabic sources, Hebrew sources were used: the settlement’s Hebrew website / Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics. And the village of Hatta from the website.
