Kfar Azar is a settlement located in the central region of the occupied Palestinian territory. It was formerly part of the Ef'al Regional Council, and in 2007 it was incorporated into the municipality of Ramat Gan alongside Ramat Ef'al. It covers an area of approximately 1,000 dunams (4.0 km²), with an estimated settler population of around 500. The moshav was established in December 1932 by two pioneering groups, Brener and Ma’ash, on lands adjacent to the Arab village of al-Khayriyya. Later, additional lands were acquired by the Jewish National Fund to expand the settlement. The moshav was named "Azar," an acronym for Alexander Ziskind Rabinovitch, a Russian Zionist writer. By the end of 1951, the settler population had reached 375. Sources: Due to the scarcity of Arabic sources, Hebrew sources were used, including the settlement’s Hebrew website and the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics. Information about the village of al-Khayriyya was obtained from .
